Temple of VTEC
As I was slogging my way through the snow covered highway a couple of days ago, I was thinking about what my next car would be. I know it’ll be another Honda or Acura. I’ve always been loyal to that brand because it has served me well. I guess I’m one of those clients that marketing folks crave. There are a couple of other brands I like. For cameras – I stick to Canon. My brother has gone through several brands and currently has a Nikon. The other brand I use is Lee Kum Kei’s Oyster Sauce. It’s the one with a kid and a woman on a boat. I remember my mom using that brand since I was a kid.
Anyways back to cars. If the many forums are right, then the 2009 Acura TSX will have an all wheel drive model (yes!). The 2009 TSX will debut at the New York Autoshow. I can’t wait to see it in the showrooms. I hope there’ll be a Type S with an all wheel drive. After driving through the snow storm, I think it’ll be worth the tradeoff.
While I’m writing about Hondas – here’s another one that caught my eye. It’s the 2008 Mugen Civic Si.

They look nice!! I am curious about how the TSX looks like. My acura doesn’t serve me that well…it has lots of problems. I guess my next car won’t be honda or acura.

My sis has a TSX and loves it. I was surprised to hear they didn’t bump up the horsepower and in fact lowered it a bit, but they did increase the torque.
I’m also a Canon guy!
Honda and Canon are the two brands I’m most fiercely loyal too!
I admit I am loyal to a brand. But I have never owned a new car but always buy preowned cars as they are called now. So far so good!

I am totally digging the 2009 Acura TSX .
RYC: Yes, still driving Angel. She’s nearly 7 years old and her paint is starting to oxidize (my fault), but I still think she looks beautiful and not at all dated.
i like hondas… i had an old hand-me-down acura for a while, and when it died last year i got a nice little honda fit. i like it a lot!
wow,both cars are very hot. the civic si coupe wouldve of been runner-up if i did not fancy roadsters–hence my miata.
p/s.: the tsx could be a bit “leaner” in porprotions. reminds me a bit of a boxy GM car.
Every time I read your food posts I tell myself I gotta properly teach myself how to cook chinese food! That’s my goal for this year, that and rock climbing.
And re your post on the toronto weather, I love it when it’s cold! I feel alive with the cold icy wind blowing in my face. I just make sure I’m bundled up though. lol.
i love my TSX, the newer one have more stuff in it compare to when it first came out. And yes if the TSX have all wheel drive like the new infinity that will be great addition. A little snow is ok for TSX when major snow hit, after 20 miles its hard to control.
