My bf treated me to the Raptors basketball game on the weekend. Since he had an extra ticket, we also invited a mutual friend with us as well. After the game, we feasted on lobsters and oysters followed by some hot tea at a nearby tea house. It was fun and the laughter throughout the evening helped ease a lot of the stress that accumulated throughout the week.
The next day, my bf and I did some cleaned my messy condo. Well, he calls it messy. I called it a free spirited organizational style. We capped off the night with another dinner in Chinatown. The 2 guys next to us ordered Peking duck. As they were munching away, 4 people walked in and were soon led to their table in the back. One of those recognized the 2 guys, said hi and grabbed a chopsticks and proceeded to help himself to the duck. After a while, he went back to his table. He soon returned with another friend and this time they brought their chopsticks with them. After some chatting and nibbling, they returned back to their table for their dinner. It was funny and odd. The 2 guys were very good natured about it and had no problems sharing.
Here are some pics that I took around the neighborhood. Sometimes I just look for theme shots. These are just some interesting store signs.
This store sells knapsacks and bags.
Tea shop
Bookstore
musical instruments... (this one was easy)
Patterns and colors are also another interesting theme.

Nice colourful photos! I wonder what you guys ordered for dinner...
It was nice for those guys sharing the duck!
Sharing is an important part of our lives. I am not sure how I would have reacted to sharing my supper with those who could afford to purchase one for themselves.
RYC: I was and am still working on not being a worry-wart. I grew up that way.
well, they ordered peking duck, i can see why the other guys wanted to join them for a bite to eat!
my bf complains his apartment is messy all the time... but truth be told, mine's just as bad, he just hasn't seen it in a while!

Toronto is so beautiful and clean through your eyes/camera.
Yeah, I like Asian informality. Deep down, all that tradition and propriety is just show. lol.
