Lazy entry
I was going through some of my old photos and decided to upload a few of them. I'm using Picasa2 to organize and do some very basic editing. So yeah, this is a lazy entry.
My bf and I had breakfast at one of the "greasy spoons" in my neighborhood. The breakfast special was 4 eggs with toast, ham / bacon, potatoes, toast and coffee. The eggs were small but eating 4 of them did me in. We waddled over to a coffee shop afterwards and did some reading (I think I snoozed....)
Flower power... I touched these pictures up a bit.
I was walking around my neighborhood and this caught my eye. I did have to straighten the picture out afterwards as it was tilted a bit.At Montreal, I took this from my hotel room. A hockey game had just finished and the long line of cars leaving made some interesting patterns. It was organized chaos.
I took this during the summer when the air show was in town. I'm not an expert on planes but I believe the planes are (from top to bottom) - F16, P51 Mustang and the F22 Raptor.
That's all for now. Happy Lunar New Year everyone!

These pictures are all amazingly gorgeous in their own right. But I must admit that the first picture will always be my first love -- food. Endless amounts of it <3
Yup, that's a falcon, mustang and raptor! I had no idea the 22 was so big -- or is it just closer?
I want some mooncakes!
Beautiful pictures....
Happy Lunar New Year too !! =)
That first picture shows exactly what I'd like to find here in Bangkok. But good, hearty breakfasts like that seem hard to find.
Love the flowers. That breakfast would be my main meal of the day or maybe all I would eat during the day. There are couple of greasy soup places here and they all seem to serve the so called "breakfast special" which is really cheap but filled with grease and almost more than anyone can eat.
omg, 4 eggs... that would have done me in too!
very beautiful pictures.
happy new year!
Happy Chinese New Year!!!
you should give us Red pocket money, since you guys are married couple...hahahaha
@dynamiqvision - you know your planes! I just checked and the F22 is longer and the wingspan is wider than the F16.
Loved the pictures of the flowers. Yeah the breakfast looks grrrreasyyy! I am not surprised you snoozed. I love Montreal. Mohamed's older brother teaches at the Univ. of Montreal and we have been there several times.
that breaky is well beyond me; but darn the pictures are gorgeous Matt. You need to retire and get into photography. I'd be interested in understand how you touched them up and see a before and after shot.
You have a really good eye on pictures. Awesome.
no rice?
happy new year! lay off that greasy food.

Great Pics!! Food Porn
I know I can handle about two eggs but those greasy spoons are so good!! *G* Hope you're warm and not snowed under... 'Til the Next
4 eggs?? FOUR eggs?? large or small, four eggs fried at once still sound a bit excessive to me. but yeah, eggs are delish. cook them anyway you like they'd still taste good. my fav. would have to be either lightly poached (nice and slippery texture) or half-cooked (silky smooth). ps: great pics of the flowers, what camera are you using?
@rudyhou - The flowers were taken with a Canon S2 IS. The snow pics were taken with a Canon EOS 40D (my new toy).
@ElusiveWords - nice, very nice!! i trust you'd likely to make the effort to find some free time to play with your new toy.
