Summer storms and flowers
It was a crazy wet weather tonight. It was just drizzling a bit but by the time I was halfway to my car, the skies opened up. I made a sprint to my car but not before I got wet. I wasn't worried about getting wet though. It was the lighting that spooked me.
The rain poured out of the clouds during my drive home. It felt as if I was going through a gauntlet of fire hoses. As the cars traveled through the puddles, it sent sprays of water 5 to 10 ft high. I had the wipers going full blast. I just took it easy, concentrated and thankfully so did the drivers around me. The rain subsided shortly after I got home. I just hope it's not that humid tomorrow.
No food pictures tonight - just flowers. Yup... another lazy entry.

they're beautiful~
Anyway, flowers are food for the eyes. Really, the weather can sometimes make us lazy. But caught in a sudden downpour one cannot afford to be lazy but has to double time to reach home.
just os very beautiful, and I do not get fat looking at them, hehe. Can I propose that you post eye-candies picture next time you feel lazy? lol. I just got back from the gym, and need some sweets, hehe. Tease!
Those are beautiful pictures. Good macro lens!
beautiful flowers. =]
i especially like the orange rose because I rarely see those anymore
but raining?! its so hot here in california...105 degrees today...that I wish it would just rain.
Im so jealous of the weather over ther
I miss lightning!
Great shots!!
We are having our afternoon storms. It is the season. 5 inches of rain yesterday about 1 mile away and slight drizzle her. I love the flowers - talk about shouting out for life!!!
The second one is gorgeous. The weather was pretty bad last night eh!! At least you didn't get wet. I'm hate driving when it rains that much and even the full blast window wiper don't seem to be enough.
the flowers are very pretty, the second one reminds me of this past weekends fireworks.
what you call a lazy post is at least a post, i haven't updated in some time. perhaps this evening i can get something thrown together.
have a wonderful wednesday

Where are you? In toronto there was massive rain here yesterday.
BORING COMMENT FROM ME: beautiful pics.
I especially like the first one. The lighting is dull that it complements the subject, the flower.
i like reading about rain. i find rain interesting because it's almost magical how it just falls out of the sky. lol, no i'm not on medication at the moment.
nice pictures. i like how photographs can tell stories just by the shading, focus and unfocused parts. or you can take shots from various angles so that you can send a message, just from a single photograph.
@tomatoboi - thank you.
@Norcani - unfortunately I couldn't drive too fast. But I was glad I got home safe and sound.
@stevew918 - tsk tsk... I just take "innocent" pictures.
@christao408 - thank you; it's actually a 17 to 85mm lens.
@Devilzgaysianboi - thank you...yeah, I don't see a lot of orange roses too.
@CareyGLY - thanks... trying hard to keep up with all the photographers on Xanga.
@brooklyn2028 - thanks... I got a bit wet running to my car while hauling my laptop.
@bleuzeus - looking forward to your next entry.
@chrispycrunch - thanks! The first pic was actually in the shade. Just having a little fun taking pictures.
@twistedoff - thanks... I like to blur out the background because it would be distracting.
whoa! photo #2 is awesome! what kind of flower is that?
@Love_Eternal_Desire - uhm...I think it's a chrysanthemum.
very nice pictures.
as lazy as these entries are... at least you are still posting! i haven't been inspired to sit down and post anything in a while... although i've also been rather busy and haven't had time to write either. i do like your photos!
@icebladz - thank you.
@kunhuo42 - that's understandable, you've been busy with school and stuff.
RYC: the Life part refers to photographs taken of things I encounter in my daily life, and the 16:9 part refers to the size ratio of the photos.
that particular entry in Chinese would be translated to English as follows:
"Want
Really want
But"
as to what the entry means, there are different things that it may refer to.. but what exactly will remain a mystery to my usual xanga readers~
it rains like crazy here in hk...when will it stop???
the macro shots are such a beaut!!
@rudyhou - thanks!
