A Ticklish Situation
I must have incredibly sensitive skin (no, this isn’t about
sun, skin products etc…). I mean, I’m
ticklish. Sometimes when my bf is
driving he’ll put his hands on my lap. I
practically have to bite my tongue otherwise I’ll let out a blood curdling
shriek. After his hands move away, I scratch the area to lessen the ticklish feeling. When he drapes his arms just on my tummy when
I sleep, I’ll wake up and start scratching
like a dog with fleas (yup, with my legs).
Just the sight of a hand moving in a tickling manner, with the fingers
moving like a giant spider, will make me run faster than that Jamaican
sprinter Bolt. My bf’s common refrain is “Is
there any part of your body that isn’t ticklish?”What gene did I inherit that made me so sensitive? My bf whispered in my ear the other day “I’m
gonna have to tie you up and have my way with you.” This will supposedly cure me. Yeah right….

You are ticklish, I am jumpy. I think it's the touch that brings me back from my cloud and it makes the bf think I dont want to be touched, but I do! I just jump when he grabs my hand in the car or comes at me from behind with a hug.
i guarantee you that i'm more ticklish than you are...guys can't touch me because i just start laughing. heck, a guy comes near me with his hand reaching out to tickle me and i start laughing before he even touches me!
i'm pretty ticklish, but sadly my bf isn't... it makes things much less fun because retaliation isn't possible =(

@masecam - I'm exactly like that. If Tawn approaches me from behind while I'm washing dishes, etc. I'll visibly jump, even if I know he's around. I was told it is because I was born in the year of the dog and that's a typically dog-like behavior. Don't know if I believe it.
Interesting; I've never understood the ticklish thing. I was super-ticklish as a child and then reached a point where I stopped being ticklish. Maybe nerve damage?

yeah, what I heard is that ticklish people likely didn't get much affection growing up. It's true with me too. I'm to a certain extent ticklish, especially with the right guy. Certainly does make the bedroom a lot more interesting

I am not ticklish at all. When we were young, we siblings tickled one another all the time till we curled up into a ball, and begged for mercy, lol. That built up my resistance,I think. If you are ticklish, do not try massage. I brought my mom to go to try foot massage one time, she started to giggle before they even touched her. The massage girl never got a chance to start.
i am VERY ticklish. haha
@stevew918 - Hmm.... I'm not sure if I can handle a foot massage. My aunt is the same way too. One time she had trouble getting into a friend's SUV. So when her friend tried to boost her up, she almost collapsed in a heap of laughter.

Were you tickled as a child? My daughter is especially ticklish on her knees...I'm to blame, I used to tickle them....I doubt that being tied up will help you get over it... 'Til The Next

@ElusiveWords - Simlar situation happened to my auntie. She was trying to get into a minivan, and I noticed she started shaking out of the control. Then I noticed a 5 year old cousin help her by touching and pushing with his little fingers on her butt to boast her. Can you Imagine feeling tiny hands on our ass while you are climbing into a van? I think you would collapse too. Right? I can imagine you reading this,and giggle nervously just thinking about it, hehe. I am enjoying the image, lol.

wow...you're ticklish all over. you can try not thinking about it and see if it works. for me, i'm only ticklish only in certain places, where as if i know someone is going to tickle me, i can resist it a little, but it doesn't work when i get surprised.
