Just a lazy entry....
Rice noodles with shrimp, pork and some scrambled eggs. I also added a bit of ginger, garlic, scallions and soy sauce. It could have used a bit more salt or soy sauce but I want to watch my sodium.
I didn't cook the next 2 dishes. The first one is scallops (which I love) w/ veggies (I think it was Chinese Broccoli). The 2nd dish is lobster - it was huge, probably around 4 or 5 lbs.
This is actually from a box planter - I think it's the flower from a basil plant. I was trying to test out my lens.
This was the tip of a pine tree stretching up in the afternoon sky and basking in the sunlight. It reminded me that sometimes you have to stretch past your own perceived limits to reach your goals.

You know Matt, I have tried several times to cook lobster, but have failed miserably. Your pictures are great.
I had lobster this past weekend too~
It was about 8lbs I think
The rice noodles looks so yummy !!!
You're making me hungry!
the lobster looks really good!
What brand rice noodles is that? Ive only attempted to make vermicelli.
And of course spaghetti, angel hair, linguini, and fettuccini. Asian noodles are different
dang 4-5 lbs! Thats hefty!
You are making me hungry with yummy rice noodles, Matt. Btw, who cooked the two other dishes? just curious.
The food looks yummy. The last statement about stretching beyond of limits and reaching for the sky is a good one to remember throughout the day - thanks!

Yummy noodles!!

@ZSA_MD - I've never tried to cook lobsters or crab. My bf does a great job of doing that.
@Gentemann - I had to google and find out what Singapore bee hoon is. I think we call it Singapore noodles over here. The noodles are the same but the flavoring and spices are different.
@tomatoboi - oh my... that is huge!
@mmmagination - but you're working out so it's ok. hee hee...
@JonasApproved - it was delicious!
@oOBuBBLes711Oo - *runs to kitchen to check* It's called Dongguan Rice Vermicelli, 6 pieces of noodles in the package.
@stevew918 - those 2 dishes were from a local restaurant.
@Fatcat723 - you're welcome.
@chrispycrunch - thanks!
@kunhuo42 - yeah... I think I gained a few pounds from all that eating.
@snowjunky8 - it could have used a bit more soy sauce and maybe some chili oil or something. But otherwise, no complaints.
@futureamadeus - thank you.
The occasional lazy entry is nice. Especially when it has pictures of food!
