  • Losing my Mind

I know my memory is bad.  But you know it’s pretty bad when my dad has to remind me about things.  I swear, I think I’m going to be senile soon.  Here are a few of the latest examples.

    1.  I wear reading glasses.  The other day, I looked all over the place for them only to discover they were sitting on top of my head.

    2.  I’ve been looking all over the place for my notepad / journal book from work.  I usually jot notes, reminders etc… on it.  I just found it in my camera bag.  I have no idea what it was doing there.

    3.  I was packing tonight for a trip tomorrow and my coat had a lot of lint in it.  I purchased one of those sticky roll brushes.  I see it every day because I leave it in the washroom right by my toothbrush, floss, Qtips…  So tonight I wanted to brush my coat but I had no idea where that thing was.  In my mind, I kept seeing it but I couldn’t figure out where.  It wasn’t until I brushed my teeth did I notice it.

    4.  The remote control for the TV went missing for a day.  I found it at night when I went to sleep.  It was on my bed.  I have no idea why it’s there as I don’t have a TV in the room.

    5.  I just found my dad’s sunglasses in my knapsack.  He thought he lost it.  I remember putting it there when I took him to a doctor’s appointment.  But of course, we both forgot where we left it.  I’ll have to somehow sneak this back into his house so I don’t look too bad.

    6.  I stuffed a bunch of bills in my briefcase last week when I didn’t have time to work on them.  I figured I would pay them off online when I was at my dad’s place.  I just rediscovered them tonight.

    7.  I asked J – “Did we have hanky panky today or was that the other day?”  Ok – I’m kidding about this.  I don’t usually forget about stuff like that…. yet.
