odds and sods...
This flower in dad's front yard still looked interesting despite it being all brown already.
A couple of weeks ago, I saw frost on the lawn and grabbed my camera to take a few pictures. I think dad's neighbours probably thought I was strange. Oh well....
I try to put my best foot forward. It's just me in my old battered sneakers.... (you were expecting a picture of me?)
Nothing fancy, just a simple ham and cheese omelette.
Meatballs simmering in tomato sauce.

That's a cool looking leaf.
Is it the angle or do you have short feet?
@yang1815 - yeah, it is.... I wish I had a macro lens.
@beowulf222 - I think it's just the angle, it just shows my feet from the shins down.
Matt, thanks for letting us to get a glimpse of your daily life. Too bad you can only show us the sneakers!
@CurryPuffy - the sneakers are the best part of me.
I had ham and cheese and mushroom crepes yesterday
yumyum.
pic 1 - it looks pretty...it makes me wonder what its supposed to look like before its all brown
pic 2 - i thought you said there's no snow yet
pic 3 - how come no picture of you =(
pic 4+5 - im hungry now. any leftovers?
I made the crepes for supper last night lol. You do have a good eye for composition in your photos.
So when are we going to see a picture of you?! hehe...
I too enjoy seeing the world of "Matt"
and even just seeing your feet is cute.
The leaf is quite amazing, i really love it.
be well Matt, I wish for you an amazing weekend!

this pictures of nature are so crisp and pretty, good job matt!
it's nice to be able to see your sneakers, you are more human and less imaginary internet persona
Those first two pictures are fantastic, especially the frosted leaf. The picture of the sneakers? Well, I don't know what conclusions to draw from that.
I love the frosted leaf! So cool!
that leaf picture is great, but it reminds me that it's the season for snow and cold, which is sad. thankfully i have your food pictures to cheer me up! as for your feet.... i agree, the angle seems a bit odd because it makes your feet look short. or maybe you just have small feet? you need to post a complete picture so we can see everything in proportion!
I'm a new reader and went back a few entries. I hope your dad gets better and as someone who was the main caregiver for a parent who had cancer I know how hard it can be to remain strong. Just know that you're not alone
@pika_whoosh - mmm... that sounds good.
@Devilzgaysianboi - it was frost not snow (water vapor freezing on ground or surfaces that are below freezing temperatures... sort of like frozen dew). We had some flurries yesterday and should see some snow tomorrow. Sorry - no left overs. I look like a Chinese Charlie Brown - so no picture of me.
@Fatcat723 - ahh... that sounds like a good dinner. Thanks for the compliment.
@bleuzeus - hee hee... those are my size 9 1/2 or 10 extra wide clown feet. I'm glad you liked the picture of the leaf. I think I need to get a macro lens to really get into the details. I hope you have a good weekend too.
@oxyGENE_08 - picture of me? Oh no.... you won't want that.
@stepaside_loser - hahaha... I showed a picture of my hand once in my other blog. I breath, bleed and fart just like any other human - lol.
@christao408 - I have a foot fetish? hee hee... I'm glad you liked those pictures.
@TheCheshireGrins - thanks! I wish I had more time to take pictures that morning.
@kunhuo42 - I didn't even notice the angle until someone mentioned it. It's sort of from below the knees.
@Mad_Wife - thank you for dropping by and for subscribing. I'm not the primary caregiver, dad lives with my sister who bears the brunt of the work. We try to split the load with my brother as well. I don't mention them a lot in my blog though. I appreciate your words of support and it's glad to know that I'm not alone.
