  • Stuff about me

Some things you may not know about me.

    1.  I can be very chatty and extroverted at times but you can also find me very quiet & introverted during other times.

    2.  I have a weakness for a well prepared dish of fried rice.  The rice can't be soft and sticky.  It has to have the right amount of BBQ pork, shrimp, eggs, green onions, soy sauce (or fish sauce, I know some folks like oyster sauce) & green peas.  Every grain rice has to be nicely fried with just the right amount of oil.  I need to be able to feel each grain in my mouth.  The BBQ pork has to be tender.  The shrimp has to be a decent size.  A perfectly cooked dish of fried rice is better than sex.  I guess the ultimate fetish would be having sex while munching on fried rice.  I'd probably would be careful with my chopsticks.  I don't want it poking into things.

    3.  Speaking of fetish.... uhm no, I don't think I'll share this one in public.  laughing

    4.  If I meet some of you in public, I'd probably would surprise you.  ("That's you?")  While I can be presentable in front of clients and senior mgm't, I think I would be very tongue tied and just babble on like some giggly teenager in front of you.  I don't know why, I just have this strange feeling about it.

    5.  I feel naked if I don't have my knapsack with me.  It's odd - it just gives me this extra feeling of security.  It's like my grown up version of a teddy bear.  I had a teddy bear when I was a kid.  But I didn't realize it was just a mouse with a big pink ears.  One day my mom washed it and hung it on the line.  Teddy had clothes pin clamped on to his ears and was just hanging there.  I would go out and check on him every so often to see if he was dry.  (ed. note... this might explain one of Matt's fetishes with clothes pins.   j/k)

    6.  While I've used the Xanga chat feature a couple of times, mostly I just stay off it.  Sometimes I'll sign on to see who is there and then quickly sign off.  Why?  I'm nervous that some of you may ask me questions about myself.  Yikes!  What if I don't want to tell you somethings about me?  But I don't want to lie.   But other times I sign on and no one is online.  I don't know if anyone has ever seen me online (well - except for a couple of you).

    7.  I'm very bad with faces.  Thankfully at work, everyone has a name tag.  So as I'm talking to them and I don't remember who they are, my eyes will slowly search for their badge.  Most of them just wear one of those badges on a small chain or lanyard around their necks.  Now some folks just clip it on their pants.  It's always awkward trying to look down there. But if you're family or friend and I'm giving you that dumb look - just remind me what your name is.

I guess this is enough stuff for the time being... I'm just filling dead air so to speak.  Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight.

  • interesting!  is a knap sack the same thing as we call a back pack you think?  Yeah, then I know what you mean.

  • you what sounds really good? fried rice with bacon! i'd love to try that.

  • I love these things about you! You are a very interesting person! I'm the same about #6.
Ha! Now I'm wondering what #3 is.
    HUGS!

  • For some reason, I can't see myself wearing just a T-shirt anymore. I would need a sweater or unbuttoned long/short sleeve shirt on top of my T-shirt. if I don't I feel naked.

  • I couldn't agree with you more on number 2... speaking of absolutely amazing fried rice, were you thinking of any particular restaurant when you typed that?

Number 4 makes me wanna meet you even more. I love babbling like a teenager :] it's so free and unrestricting

  • I am not sure what my "Teddy Bear" is. You gave me something to think about. It maybe of all things my cell phone!!!

  • #6 explains why I haven't seen you online in a while.  #5 is one I can relate to.  I have a messenger bag that is with me most anytime I go out.  What can I say?  I like to be prepared... and if I don't have my camera, how am I going to get more material for my blog?

  • Sex while munching on rice eh?  I guess that's a good way to multitask!

  • Really cool. Naked without your knapsack?! and Perfectly cooked fried rice is better than SEX?!!! LMAO I don't use Xanga Chat too...it's lame!

  • #6 I am not aware of the chat option, but I promise I will not ask you about #3.  hehe.    #7 I am bad with matching face with names also, wonder if that is my excuse to look for the name tag.  #5 I do feel "naked" if I go out without my PDA/phone.

  • You must really love fried rice. haha! We should trade places for a day. My family LOVES fried rice. I'm pretty 'eh' with it. haha

  • #5 reminds me of the time I washed a stuffed dog that my (ex) bf had gifted- I hung it to dry by clipping both the ears to the line. It was so funny to look at... I think I had posted a pic here as well.

P.S: I request that the Editor should make more frequent guest appearances!

  • I think I saw you online yesterday. I didn't message you because I was watching tv and drinking scotch.

  • I guess you like greasy fried rice, or greasy food generally?

  • My purse is my security blanket. I feel naked without having a purse on me!

  • "  I guess the ultimate fetish would be having sex while munching on fried rice. " hahahahaha XD.

" I'm very bad with faces." I read that as faeces.

    I think I'm going crazy.

  • My, you are very picky with your fried rice!  And I'll say it again...can't wait to meet you one day. :)

  • I have a feeling that we share an interest in the same fetish. And if it is what I think it is, an encounter between us may not end well for one of us.

  • Yeah a good fried rice is very good.  Not sure about better than sex though.  Perhaps bad sex.

  • Fried rice has never, ever sounded as good as you described it.  Damn, now I want some!

  • hahaha wow its like you're reading the essence of my soul xD teehee

  • thanks for sharing this with us :D

  • you sound like a really nice person to have a chat with! and i have the same kind of weakness for fried rice too lol

i always like to have my manpurse with me too...once i started carrying one, i just couldn't go back to pockets!

  • @Diva_Jyoti_3 - yeah, it's a back pack (not the big ones for traveling).

@REDandBLACKphenomina - I've tried it with bacon, onions or shallots, green onions and eggs before.  It's good too!

@adamswomanlost - hahaha... thanks, I'm keeping my lips sealed on #3.

@stupid_systemus - oh that's interesting, I bet no no one will notice your preference.  Thanks for visiting and for subscribing.

@Devilzgaysianboi - a fried rice fan!  I made fried rice the other day and didn't have eggs.  But it still tasted good.  So it was on my mind when I wrote this.  But I also remember how much I liked fried rice ever since I was a kid.  As for babbling, I think I sound more like a 2 year old than a teenager.  hahaha....

@Fatcat723 - cell phones can be a source of security too.

@christao408 - I've never seen a picture of your messenger bag.  (I bet you're gonna list at least a dozen or so blogs where it has appeared.)

@Roadlesstaken - if only I can update my Xanga at the same time too.

@oxyGENE_08 - what can I say, I really like fried rice.

@stevew918 - you probably have tons of contacts on your PDA/Phone.  The Xanga chat is at the bottom right hand side.  It disappears though when you update your blog.

@twentyse7enn - hahaha... I think I am going to like your family.

@Dezinerdreams - the editor is lazy and can be very annoying.  But for you, I'll pass along your request.

@supanamja - what kind of scotch?

@CurryPuffy - well, not all the time because it's not that healthy.  My doctor will growl at me.

    @Senlin - well - now you got me wondering.  Hmmm.... ^ ^

@TheCheshireGrins - I bet you have lots of stuff in your purse.  I've got tissue, pens, coins....

@pika_whoosh - hahaha... no, you're not going crazy.  You're eyes are a bit tired from too much studying.

@brooklyn2028 - not on a cold day like this.  I'm cocooned in my warm condo.  If you see someone who looks like a Chinese Charlie Brown coming up to you and babbling nonsense, that will be me.

@yang1815 - I just have this thing for fried rice... what can I say.  hahaha....

    @heart_beep - it's easy to make!

@Gosalyn223 - the essence of your soul - really?    Thanks for dropping by and subscribing.

@jace1982 - another fried rice fan!  yay... and thank you for the compliment.

  • @ElusiveWords - I was either drinking a Glenkinche distiller's edition, or a Talisker 25.

  • I need my purse and my cell phone with me all the time. I feel vulnerable without them. I too don't chat on the xanga chat line. I have done it a couple of times, but I quickly see who all are on, and then sign off. Neat post Matt.

  • Hmm, how very curious.... I do the same thing with the chatting, though.

  • yea Im kinda hmmm sorta the things ya said I can relate too but you actually kinda admit it but about the sack I just feel like Garth from Waynes world when I have it around thats why I like it :D

  • haha... #6 - i ALWAYS stay clear of online chatting.  whether that be here on xanga or on other websites.  guess i'm just as nervous as you in having strangers or anyone asking me personal questions.  either that or i'm just too lazy to chat with anyone.

  • Your knapsack...my beer.

  • I think you should post your fried rice recipe
