  • Dreamweaver gone nuts

    I have been getting a feeling that I’ve been having a recurring dream every so often.  But I rarely recall my dreams.  I guess when your creativity is at an all time low, even your dreams go into reruns.

    But when I woke up the other morning, I managed to retain faint wisps of this recurring dream.  The scene is almost from an old movie.  I’m in a big room and the setting sun has given the room a yellow, golden tint.  There’s lots of wooden furniture, paneling and floors everywhere.  I’m in the room looking for my things so that I can start my work.  I can sense that my job is in some type of a call centre.  I’m searching through a drawer to find my headset and other things.  But I can’t find any of it.  I can’t see any of the staff but I can tell they are getting impatient.  Their shift is almost over and they want to leave.

    I go into another room to keep looking for my things but now I have this urge to shower before I can start my shift.  In the corner of the room is a small shower.  It’s just out in the open without any curtains at all.  There’s quite a few people in the room coming and going.  But I undress and get into shower with nothing to protect my modesty.  But no one seems to care or notice at all (ed. note:  this is big blow to Matt’s ego).  After I get out of the shower, I can’t find a towel and I think I just used my clothes to dry myself. Now the other odd thing is that I don’t even see any of my coworkers.  They are just there.

    As I’m about to start my shift, my coworkers all seem to be disappointed that I’ve forgotten how to do my job.  Even in my dream, I know I’ve done that job before.  I just keep staring at the phone and don’t have a clue what to do next.

    I don’t interpret my dreams anymore especially when they are so strange.  I guess it’s a bonus for me remembering my dreams.  A bigger bonus would be getting a good night’s sleep.

  • Strange dream indeed.

  • you stress out about work

  • When I first saw the title, I thought you backing the assertion that Sarah Palin wannabe, Kristi Noem was nuttier than Spongebrain Squarespecks.  Then I read it, and knew that you still agree with everything I’ve ever written about Lady Gag Gag, the Twitterin’ Twit!  (It’s still not February 1st in California!!) :)

  • When I saw the title, I thought you were Charlie Sheen, and had party with a lot of food-porn-star play-bois for several days, lol. That was supported by your dream blog  ”I was naked and there were quite a few people in the room cuming and going”.  You see what I mean? Teasing you, Matt.

  • That is a strange dream, even for me… I am the master of strange dreams- my dreams never EVER make sense!

  • That’s pretty weird…at least better than the recurring dreams I got as a child where I got chased by monsters though :P fml.

  • What is it they say about dreams where you are naked?  It is supposed to represent you feeling vulnerable about something?

  • Perhaps you need a “Dream Catcher” for  you room.

  • Hmm, dreams are fun. Your dreams seem a bit, hmm… haha….

  • Did you happen to call some sort of customer service help center recently? Just curious. As a Chinese saying goes,”What you think about during the day recurrs in your dreams at night.”

  • I tend to agree with Gary ^ above. It’s possible that you had some kind of deadline to meet or that you were expecting something, and perhaps this played out in your mind.

  • @oxyGENE_08 - strange dream from a strange mind I suppose.

    @vsan79 - not recently, I just think it’s my over active brain.

    @CareyGLY - hahaha – you’re a silly rabbit.

    @stevew918 - lol… no, I rarely dream about that stuff.  (not that I remember)

    @Dezinerdreams - I had another strange one last night.  I was going into a prison to witness an execution.  I woke up just in time… whew.

    @pika_whoosh - I had falling dreams when I was a child.  I seemed to be falling off (well, sliding off) some hill into a dark hole of some sort.

    @christao408 - I hate being vulnerable.

    @Fatcat723 - I see them around every so often.  Maybe I should get one.

    @secade - yes, they are bizzare.  I had one last night about going into a prison to witness an execution (which I woke up before it happened).

    @CurryPuffy - no recent encounters with call centers.

    @ZSA_MD - there was a recent deadline… hmm… the mind works in mysterious ways.

  • I initially thought this was gonna be a website html article about dreamweaver.  I think i might have dreamt of having a shower in a place I worked too.  Or no dividers between restroom and office.

  • i think your dream is no where near strange in comparison to mine.  but yeah, though odd they can be, it’s always nice to know you get a good sleep when you dream.

  • @alchemystfury - oh right, I just remembered about that product.  Sorry – no technical stuff in my blog.  I’m not a techie.

    @rudyhou - yeah, I don’t think I can beat you on this.  Chasing female convicts…. maybe you’re a closet straight?  hahaha….

  • remember to focus on something very pleasant before drifting into your sleep.

    no tv and such , just very pleasant thoughts. your dreams should work for you.

    after all you spend another lifetime in dreams. make them a happy place to reside in.

    like life you can make it all work for you. i believe firmly in your thoughts change your life!

    shi shi for the comment and happy new year to you too… LOVE is… _meikaili_

  • Interesting dream! I don’t try to interpret my dreams anymore, either. I think dreams are a way for our minds to get rid of all the unless info, thoughts, and feelings we deal with all day.
    Hey, a good dream makes for good Xanga blogging!
    HUGS!

  • Apparently dreams reoccur because they hold some sort of great significance. I have no clue what your dream means… but apparently the feelings you have in your dreams are a lot more important than what happens in them?

    All in all… I think you should do something fun. When you’re dreaming about working and not getting paid any extra… time to start partying as hard as you work :]

  • @ElusiveWords - LOL… suddenly i feel so butch

  • @rudyhou - aha!  I knew it, you’re a male lesbian! hahaha…

    @adamswomanlost - yeah, I don’t interpret them anymore.  I just let my brain unwind.  Thanks for the hugs.

    @Devilzgaysianboi - you’re right about trying to get more fun in my life.  It’s a bit (a lot?) out of balance right now.  I hope you’re doing well.

  • haha… i’m lost for words…
