Silent Companions
They sit together in timeless eternity. They reach out to each other but their hands will feel nothing but air. This is their fate which they have quietly accept.

Those statues are beautiful – where are they?
There are several such statues where I live now. But the ones here aren’t exactly nice.
Beautiful statues and photo of them. Wonder how many of us they represent.

wishing you well

Nice photos almost kinda freakish…
That’s so sad, Matt.
@BenelliMan -
keep smiling Dennis.
@XtremePsionic - I have never tried to write poetry.
@Umnenga - they are in the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto.
@beowulf222 - we need a statue of Rudyyyyyyy!
@Fatcat723 - I had a similar thought too.
@bleuzeus - I just noticed a grammar mistake in the text … argh! But thank you for the compliment.
@oxyGENE_08 - they kinda look like me (that blank look…)
@KevEats - I couldn’t figure out what to write and this came to mind. I guess I was feeling a bit blue when I wrote this.
They look like statues at a cancer memorial at my university.
@ElusiveWords - Pics or you’re bluffing =P
i sometimes feel that way with certain people in my world.
Lovely photos!!
Wonderful words, not “elusive words”. Good job, Matt.
@secade - I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. Their outstretched arms attracted me and both statues were actually squatting which allowed me to get to eye level.
@rudyhou - Hmm…. well, I hope you’ll find a way to break through and maybe they will make an extra effort to reach out to you too.
@CareyGLY - thanks Carey. Long time no see (hint hint….)
@stevew918 - thanks Steve, glad to see you around here again.
