Monsters Calling Home
I stumbled on this band reading someone's blog. Wow... they deliver. I'm sure some of you have heard of them already. I'm kinda slow on these things.
They are Monsters Calling Home. I am having crush on all of them.
I love how music can make me happy.

Saw their Youtube (Honda) ad a few times, and listened for the first time today. Not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed in the vocals, but I give 'em props.
I am usually not a big fan of the violin but totally digging the violin girl here. LOVE seeing so much passion.
The composition of the band gives a great sound. Not sure about the vocals.
Is this a Christian band?

I actually saw these guys on Hollywood Blvd a few months ago, but had no idea who they were. Then I saw them on Jimmy Kimmel and loved them! As my friend @maximusman says, "An all Asian band that sings Southern Folk a la Johnny Cash? Hell yeah!"
@npr32486 - maybe it's due to their relative inexperience compared to other bands?

@Fatcat723 - I wasn't expecting this mix of instruments. Interesting - you're the second person to note the weakness in vocals. I wonder if I'm a bit tone deaf from playing loud music?
@Wangium - I think they are all Christians but I'm not sure if they would call themselves a Christian band.

@rudyhou - hahaha... I like his glasses too. They are all very good looking. Actually the woman singer also caught my eye - her soft voice and pretty face just appeals to me.

@beowulf222 - that is different! I would freak out if I saw a bunch of suits walking like that near me. They are all like robots.
@CareyGLY - I hope you got pictures, autographs, interviews... I went wide eyed when I heard them for the first time. The sound didn't quite match my vision of what that band should look like.
@ElusiveWords - Yes! Did you see the bystanders' reaction? Total disbelief that this is happening. *haha*
Nope, I didn't take pictures because I didn't know who they were. But I will next time!
I hope they don't get too crazy with the Christian crap, cuz that would turn me off.
