Moving forward
Work continues to be difficult but I feel a bit less stressed after writing that last entry. I appreciate all of you who left words of encouragement, support and prayers. It doesn’t feel like I’m bearing this burden by myself. Thank you for being part of this wonderful community.
Last week, J cooked some congee and I devoured a large bowl. Afterwards, I told him it was very good. He replied I was stating the obvious. I’m glad he doesn’t have an ego when it comes to cooking. We watched Lincoln afterwards. I thought it was very good and it held my attention for the full 2 1/2 hours. It was good to enjoy life for awhile. J and I also hung out with my cousin as well this past weekend. The 3 of us enjoy each other’s company and shared some good food and laughter. But I did work pretty well a full day on Saturday (deep sigh).
It’s crazy that Christmas is here. I wish I could just reschedule it as I do when I get a meeting invitation at work. I’m sure I’ll pay dearly for those words. The ghosts of Xmas past, present and future will visit me soon.

OooooOOOOoooo…The Christmas ghosts! Let’s start an actually helpful petition and try to get Christmas rescheduled to a more-convenient time. The end of the year has just become too frantic a time.
Well, Christmas is a big deal and at the same time, it is just another day in the year. I guess you have to keep a measure of perspective about it, no? Glad you enjoyed some quality time with J.
Quality time with a loved one is always important. Christmas hype is higher than the day itself and the day after it is all forgotten.
It’s all about moving forward. Savor these days before Christmas!
The problem with the rescheduling mentality is that soon, you want to reschedule everything, including life. I hope things take a better turn for you and that the holidays are warm and pleasant.
I forgot you have a J in your life. You shouldn’t be stressed out too much. Just divert all the stress you feel on him. Haha JK
Things will get better just stay focus on the good stuff, like the quality time u have with people you love. Christmas… ugh, not my favorite Holiday but nothing I cant do about it either
Glad to hear you are less stressed. Christmas is just another day. Hope you don’t have a lot of decorations in your condo that you have to worry about taking down the day after Christmas.
Wait, Christmas is here! OMG! I need to start shopping…hahaha! Strange to think that Christmas is less than 10 days away and I have barely started shopping…
Glad to hear you got out for a date with J.
Getting visits from the Xmas ghosts might be a good thing
Merry Christmas Matt!
