Joshua Prager
I watched this last week and was totally engrossed. It's just over 18 minutes so set aside a bit of quiet time.

I'm going to turn this into a tumblr when I simply reblog other stuff.

lol, it's so easy to just take great content off the web and repost isn't it?
Watching it now
Hmmm, this was pretty frustrating to watch. The way we make peace with ourselves is so strange sometimes.
What is bad doesn't need to be deemed good for life to move on, but we need to rise above the bad and embrace the contrast in life. I like that
@XtremePsionic - it kinda puts some of the troubles I'm facing now into better perspective. I know I can rise above the many challenges facing me at work. I'm not at peace with myself yet but I'll get there.
The love of self - the person we are - is the foundation for me for everything else. That means I know I can face all the challangfes of my day and life. I know I can the question is will I.
I sent this to all of my friends last week too. We had a long discussion about it over the weekend. Truly inspriring
This was totally inspirational. I felt like I couldn't breathe the whole time he talked. What a memory to live with, for both, the speaker and for Abed. Thanks for the post Matt.
Thank you, so much, for sharing this! It brought me to tears!

I've been going through some stuff recently. And this has helped give me some perspective. Some hope.
Perspective, attitude, choices of how to respond...walking in another person's "shoes"...knowing the whole story...
Now, I need to get ahold of Joshua Prager's book Half Life.
Hey...Have you ever read the book Revenge: A Story of Hope by Laura Blumefeld? It's a book I've read, and reread. It's been so inspiring to me.
HUGS!!!
I wish I could rec' this a million times!
@Fatcat723 - I have the same question too Rob. It's funny how loving and accepting ourselves seems to be the core to living to our potential.
@CareyGLY - hi Carey, it's always good to have you drop in. I watched it a couple of times already and I'll probably keep going back to this video. He makes my problems seem so small.
@ZSA_MD - I was mesmerized by it too. He really held my attention. This is one speech I'll be watching again. Thanks for the rec.
@adamswomanback - I'm glad this was timely for you and you're very welcome. It's funny how sometimes we come across these things and they just hit you when you need it.
I have not read A Story of Hope and I'll have to check it out based on your recommendation. Thank you for the rec.
