I'm so absent minded
Thank you for all your get well wishes. I'm almost 100%. The sneezing and coughing have stopped although my voice is still hoarse. But I'm back at work tomorrow.
Sometimes I feel like I’m the absent minded professor. Except I'm not a professor, just plain forgetful.
- I’ve forgotten my badge a few times when I’ve gone to
work. While it’s not the end of the
world, I have to go to security to get a temporary one so I can enter my
office.
- Once I almost forgot to pack my laptop before I went to
work. I thought my briefcase felt a bit
light.
- Don’t ask me how many times I’ve forgotten to take things
out of the washing machine. . Um… just a sec, I got to check now. Yep, there
was a load there.
- I made tea the other day and somehow I ended up with two
mugs. There was one by my desk and one
in the kitchen.
- When I was talking to my brother one day, I suddenly forgot
what his wife’s name was. I was saved when someone mentioned her name.
- When I went out for a walk this afternoon, I took my camera
with me. I took some interesting street
scenery shots. It was good getting my
creative juices going again. When I got
home to load the pictures to my PC, I discovered that I didn’t have my memory
card in the camera. (I have this option
to take shots without the memory card enabled).
My bf will attest to the number of tax forms, receipts etc…
that I’ve misfiled, misplaced or lost. He
believes that if my d*ck isn’t attached to me, I’ll forget it somewhere. I actually do believe that. It would be very embarrassing if I had to ask “Has anyone
seen my d*ck? I think I left it in the
washroom."
Here’s a picture that I took the other day - with my memory card in the camera. One of my orchids has a couple of new
buds. - I’ve forgotten my badge a few times when I’ve gone to

Beauiful picture! and you are so funny with the comments about the washroom question. I tend to be forgetful sometimes too. One time I rushed out of the house at 8 a.m. to a business meeting. Half way there, I noticed I did not have my shoes on. Another time, I went to movie forgot to wear my shoes. In both cases, I had to look for a shoe store in emergency. It was not easy to find a shoe store open at 8 a.m. that I can confirm. At least it is not as embarrassing as you going to lost-and-found to ask whether someone has turned in your lost d*ck, lol.
Glad to know that you are recovering!!
Very beautiful orchid.
I forgot to wear underwear once after my shower.....no wonder it felt breezy down there..hahaha
Beautiful orchid - we have several in the office. Glad you are feeling better but be careful about rushing back to work and forgetting to get completely well. I always leave for work forgetting something - have to check everything a couple times and lay out most stuff the night before. Yes, I was a professor
.
hahaha it's ok, i'm rather forgetful too... and i probably will eventually be a [forgetful] prof, to the delight and torment of my students =D
Thanks for subscribing me!
Hehe, "Where's my d*ck". Too funny. I am like you with regards to the clothes in the washer thing. I ALWAYS forget.
Don't worry, I'm sure it's part of your charm that you're a bit forgetful.
Mucinex should finish it off! IF you are a tea drinker, make sure to get locally produced honey. It will help your immune system!
watch out, someone's nabbed matt's dick!
I had a good laugh reading this post. Good to hear you're doing better. I'm a tad jealous you have such a good camera =)
But I know what you mean about being absent minded, I tend to do that a lot when I have conversations, which is bad. -_- Lol. =)
Yup, I do~ =]
Very funny...just imagine looking for your own d*ck at the 'lost n found' counter! I always left hanging my keys out at the front door, without taking it out....I hope I'm not like Steve, forgetting to wear shoes. LOL
I like your orchids....they must be very well fertilized!
Sorry you were under the weather. Hope you're better soon.
Reminds me of King Missile's one hit wonder, "Detachable Penis"

ha, ha.. that's funny. i can only imagine how much patience your b'friend has. but, honestly, we all do that sometimes, especially when your mind got clouded with so many things to worry about. if i were you, try to do things in sequence and try to make a habit of it. that way, you're less likely to miss things.
Nevertheless it goes without saying your own utterances should be wise
