quick update
It's been incredibly busy at work. Adding to this is the time I had to take off to look after dad's medical appointments. There was even an appointment for a MRI on a Sunday (it's actually open 24 hours!). Unfortunately these appointments just don't seem to stop. Both of these have conspired to keep me away from Xanga. I'll eventually get to your blogs.
J and I did spend some quality time together this past weekend. We met up with one of my cousins and had some Vietnamese food. I was a bit surprised my cousin has never tried Vietnamese food. I thought it was mainstream by now. They both looked embarrassed when I took some pictures of the food (I'll try to post some soon). I should show them pictures of foodies snapping away at their food porn. My cousin seemed to like the Vietnamese food we had (wraps). But more importantly he gets along with J and me. We spent most of the evening laughing (mostly at my expense). I don't know him that well so when we do get together I try to find out a bit more about him. For example, I just found out he goes to church every weekend. I sometimes get signals from my broken gaydar that my cousin might be gay although I doubt it. I mean I don't really care one way or another. J's gaydar however goes off like crazy around my cousin.
In the meantime, I hope to get some badly needed sleep.

glad you able to have a little down time doing something for you. Im sorry things are so stressful for you Matt. If I were closer I would help you out. Yes, sleep...get as much and as often as you can. Hugs.
it's just nice to know you still try to make time for us in between your hectic schedule. in the meantime, do take good care of yourself. hope you'll get more sleep hours that you crave, even if that means sacrificing time away from xanga. remember, health n insanity come first.
Good that you can take time to have some fun and good food. You need that to stay sane.
Have been thinking about you a lot lately and hoping all is going as good as can be. Glad you and J were able to make some time for yourselves. As for your cousin, are you sure that it's J' gaydar that's going off?
Beep beep!
If both gaydars detected something, that could be a correct result! Glad that you and J found time to try some tasty food!
@macphoto - thanks for the concern, it's very much appreciated. I managed to take a quick nap when I got home after work. It felt good but I'm wide awake now.
@rudyhou - you're right Rudy. I do feel a bit burnt out lately.
@Fatcat723 - it's not easy keeping one's sanity but I'm determined to do that.
@christao408 - thanks Chris, I appreciate the support and best wishes from the other side of the world. I think when the time is right, I'll tell my cousin a bit more about me and see how he reacts.
@yang1815 - mine went off when I first read your blog. hahaha.... (j/k)
@CurryPuffy - it's not easy to carve out time lately but we do manage.
I wish I could wave a magic wand and give you more time to rest! Glad to hear that you had a bit of time to do what two things that I suspect you like, eat and spend time with family.
Oh and why do you think your gaydar is broken?
@brooklyn2028 - oh I wish you could as well. As for your other question, do you remember that concert by Will? My gaydar didn't even go off that day.
@ElusiveWords - Just the first time?
@yang1815 - I'm sure it was you who blew the fuse in my gaydar. hahaha...
@ElusiveWords - And it's still blown apparently haha!
