DAT ROAST BEEF.
I LOVE peking duck!! And the one you got looks lean. Jealous!!!
Duck, I Love it. Was out to our local Thai restaurant and had duck – what else!! Yummy. OK I left my phone at home so no photo.
Fruit pie with rhubarb = awesome.
Roast beef = even more so, considering that Tawn doesn’t eat beef so my consumption of it is very rare, pun intended.
Muah!
your turn for Food Pron! looking good!
WOW! That’s a lovely feast! How come I didn’t get an invite? hehe
Is it bad I want all of the above for breakfast ?
What a hearty parade of delicious and hearty dishes. I like the roast beef! *stomach growling*
Looks delicious!
Prime rib~ Love it. Love all the food pictures and the way they are presented. Pies and the lemopn parfait cake. Umm hmmm! Enough to keep me drooling.
Yummmmmmmmmmm *drools* Did you have a food coma?
)
Looks delicious! Thanks for reminding me of fond childhood things–especially the roast beef.
You’re giving @currypuffy a run for his money!
OMG I’m starving
lol
Cook for me
@supanamja - I wished my brother had some horseradish. The beef was very tender and juicy.
@youngvan - this one was very good. The skin was crispy and the meat was very moist.
@Fatcat723 - I don’t eat a lot of duck (too fatty) but I do enjoy it every so often.
@christao408 - J doesn’t eat beef either. I am also trying to cut back on red meat but my carnivore instincts are too strong.
@agmhkg - food porn is good for the soul… I mean tummy.
@oxyGENE_08 - lol… it’s just family gathering and you would have been bored.
@XtremePsionic - hahaha… as long as you don’t eat this every day. I’ve had steak and eggs for breakfast once. I couldn’t move afterwards.
@CurryPuffy - my brother and his wife really do a good job on the prime rib. It was wonderfully seasoned and very tender.
@StatesofXistence - indeed – I’m getting hungry replying to the comments. Thanks for visiting.
@ZSA_MD - I’m the only person in the family that takes pictures of food. They all think I’m crazy. I’m glad you don’t. hahaha… thank you for the rec.
@Got_Claws - oh goodness, they weren’t all in one meal. It was 2 meals. I was a bit slow after both meals. hee hee…
@babybug329 - you’re welcome, I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for the rec and for subscribing.
@CareyGLY - this is just a drop in the bucket compared to what Gary has blogged. I’ll catch up one of these days…
@Kliente2 - I made fried rice for dinner and there are leftovers. hee hee…
@secade - I only cook simple foods.
Actually the trip is to remove the layer of fat between the skin and meat – before cooking.
looks delicious! i haven’t had peking duck in so long. duck is one of my favorites, but i have never worked up the courage to try and cook it myself. i’m afraid of overcooking it (as i often do to chicken hahaha), which would be a travesty.
i don’t eat a lot of red meat either, because my partner’s trying to cut it out of his diet. so i only get it on occasion, when we’re dining out.
@kunhuo42 - J doesn’t eat beef and I don’t eat a lot of it. But I still love steaks, prime ribs and burgers. I’ve never tried cooking duck. My mom used to stuff duck with sticky rice, Chinese sausage, mushrooms, etc… and the duck was also deboned. We only had it in winter. It was delicious and filing but it took a lot of time to make.
@Fatcat723 - I’ve never tried cooking duck. I know some folks like the duck breast medium rare and I get freaked out by it.
@ElusiveWords - aw, don’t tell me it’s a lot of work! my mom said she was going to teach me how to make stuffed duck when i go back to visit in december. i think the trick is to get the butcher to debone the duck for you hahaha.
@kunhuo42 - omg, if she teaches you this recipe could you pls share it with me?
