One Less Brick in the Wall
Believe it or not, I met up with another Xangan recently. He also blogs anonymously although he hasn’t updated much recently. I was surprised when he contacted me. He was in town visiting relatives and for some sightseeing. I was able to find some time to meet him for lunch before he flew back home. So some of you may wonder – what do anonymous blogger do when they meet? We chatted for quite some time over lunch. It was mostly about family, work and catching up on what we’ve been up to. Although I think I asked more questions since he hasn’t updated recently. The conversation was easy and the time flew by much too quickly. I am glad I had a chance to meet him in real life.
When I got back to work, I took off my fake mustache, coloured contact lens, wig and make up. Just kidding…
It’s funny when I started this blog that I had no intention of turning it into any type of interaction (virtual or real). It was just a place for an online journal. But little by little – that’s changed.
p.s. in case you were wondering no one took pictures. But I didn’t check if he had a spy camera in his eye glass (yikes!).

I’ve met with a few xangans and even dated one for years as you know. I don’t find internet people any scarier than creepy guys sitting around me at work, lol
The only thing that can come into the way that one constructs an image of the other person based in his/her writing. Having an open mind is probably important.
The spy cameras get hidden in the shirt buttons anyway. They’re so tiny now; they’re just about “imposeeble.” It’s late, I’m sorry.

@oxyGENE_08 - actually of the 4 I’ve met, only 1 was anonymous. But no pics. I would be very anxious if I went to a Xanga meet up and everyone had cameras. I would be hiding but I also want to take pictures of everyone else.

@CurryPuffy - it was an ordinary lunch – nothing to write home about. I felt bad, I wanted it to be a bit better.

Lol so sad. Some of us girls do go out with geo colored contacts, extensions, push up bras, fake nails, fake lashes, heels, a pound of makeup, fake tan, the works… Hahahaha

i’ve met 2 xangans so far, and am curious enough to want to meet a few more. of course, i should probably actually update my blog at some point or people will forget about me!

@kunhuo42 - lol – yes, you should update your blog more! As for the other anonymous blogger, since I didn’t tell him I was going to write about this, I probably shouldn’t say his name. I think you should fly to HKG in Christmas and meet up with Chris and the rest of the gang.
@ElusiveWords - i’m flying back to hawaii to visit the family for the holidays. i guess i’m halfway there by that point, but i really should spend some time with my new niece! perhaps another time…
I read this in outrage – I wanna be this guy! Lol @ everyone’s responses – yes, we’re all lining up. Gosh, Matt, you know how to get everyone all excited about meeting you… setting eyes on you will be the climax.

@stepaside_loser - lol… I’m not sure if there are that many people who want to meet me. Some are a bit curious about what I look like. But I’m sure no one will climax when they set eyes on me. If you’re in town, I’m sure I would meet up with you. It’ll likely be in some busy street corner in Chinatown. You’ll have an interesting time trying to find me.
