Strikethrough Sounds Better
I slashed cut myself on the finger while slicing some daikon radish. It was a gruesome silly accident. I was using my knife to collect the cut pieces and my finger just grazed the blade. I screamed cringed when I felt the blood gushing out cut. I got my surgical kit a tissue and squeezed my finger. It took me a minute to remember where my surgical team was I stored my bandaid. I got back to work but my cutting board was smeared with carnage had a drop of blood. I thought about taking a picture of the cut but it was just like a tiny paper cut. My hands were heavily bandaged and I couldn't hold a camera.
This heavy bleeding terrified distracted me and I forgot to push the button on my rice cooker. Now my food is going to be overcooked while I wait for the rice to cook. I'm so lucky to be alive and will heal after a few days in the intensive care annoyed.

Man... you are one dramatic son of a gun !
Hehe murder in the kitchen
Hope you recover soon from your paper cut!
damnit, cant' do strikethrough in comment
Paper cuts are some nasty s*** of b******. Cutting yourself with a serrated knife is more fun.
Aw. Poor you!

Ha! The crossed out parts made me laugh. Sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you. Uh...ah...are you laughing?! Right?!
I'm glad they didn't have to amputate!
Your version of the story is way better than the reality!
HUGS and a healing kiss to your poor finger!
*shudder*
I can't tell if you're being dramatic... or downplaying the seriousness of the issue.
Drama for sure - hope you live - but what happened to the food!!!!!
Mistakes or screamed words is way better never done but we subconsciously think differently. Maybe it is too much television med shows or heavy thinking?
Hope you live, Mr. Walter Mitty because everyone knows that boredom kills. Slasher movies and other horror film drama borders what happened in real life (The Boston bombing) could not happen in real life.
How the heck was I able to get words crossed out in my comments? I will not tell anyone,.
I had a cut like that once...only it wasn't really small. It took like thirty minutes to get the bleeding to stop. I am glad you survived.
LOL LOL LOL. never too dramatic, huh?
I laughed through the whole post. Love the drama Matt.
I had three cuts like that, and each time I had to go to the ER and get the damn thing sutured.
It's very unsanitary to bleed in your kitchen! You should let the blood spurt into a pan, then at least you could make some gravy! Waste not, want not!
haha
@Nostra_Damus - I have to make up for an otherwise boring life.
@oxyGENE_08 - it was very scary!
@XtremePsionic - yeah it was "quick recovery", when I took of the band-aid later on, I couldn't even find the cut.
@beowulf222 - I'm usually very careful with knives. I won't want to cut myself with a serrated knife!
@adamswomanback - the finger healed before bedtime. My reality has very little excitement so I need to spice things up.
@KevEats - it's all good.
@Devilzgaysianboi - I'm a drama mama!
@Fatcat723 - I gobbled everything down. Sorry - no pics, it wasn't very attractive and I was hungry.
@PPhilip - my ordinary life needs a bit more drama.
@TutelageOfTheMundane - 30 minutes! I probably would have soldered or super glued the wound. Maybe I need some first aid training.
@rudyhou - drama is healthy!
@ZSA_MD - ok ok... you're a doctor, even a major cut would probably make you yawn. hahaha...
@whyzat - omg, hahaha... I'm not a vampire.
@maniacsicko -
I like it when you laugh.
ur awesome Matty
@yang1815 - thanks Andy.
