Got Insomnia?
Insomnia,
I’m on to ya.
You’re like an unwelcome guest
depriving me of my rest.You’re driving me nuts.
I just want to kick you in the nuts.
You’re a creep,
why don’t you let me sleep?Yep… it’s been like this the past week(s). It’s past 2 AM now.
I had to take a pill tonight. I can’t handle another sleepless night.

I know the feeling, man. I’ve been up like that too.

i’ve been having a hard time sleeping well lately too. sigh… it’s probably stress-related.
Knowing your job and how hard you work at it, I go along with Aaron. How to reduce stress – mm – maybe some meditation or exercise like yoga.
You poor thing – I hope you get some rest. As for the pills, they don’t seem to be improving your poetry! =D
@christao408 - lol… I was starting to get a bit drowsy when I wrote that. I got 6.5 hours this morning but woke up just after 9. I usually target to wake up at 5:45 on a workday.
@arenadi - I’m curious what you try to do to get to sleep. You seem to have a good knowledge of TCM and other techniques.
@ZenPaper - I started that club! hahahaha
@yang1815 - you naughty boy…
Matt: “not tonight dear, I have a head ache”
bf: “Here’s some Tylenol PM Mattie… it’s from Dr. Andy. You can wash it down with warm milk.”
Matt: “Oh yeah? What else did Dr. Andy recommend?”
bf: “ ^ ^ “
@kunhuo42 - you too? hug Aaron. I should write some more poetry for you to read. It’ll put you to sleep in no time.
@Fatcat723 - I’ve concluded that TV doesn’t do anything to put the mind at ease although I do fall asleep in front of it. I doubt if that’s healthy though.
I often find I fall asleep in the middle of a CD of soothing music – and that can happen at any time of day or night ! Lol. Sympathy’s are with you though, it’s awful when you can’t sleep and have to work the next day.
Was up until 330 last night Wtf :(:(
@secade - Me too.
I hate sleeples nights. One of my friends hadn’t slept in a while and I got worried, things are better now.
It’s probably just a passsing thing.
@ElusiveWords - There are TCM methods, I don’t know why I don’t use them on myself more often. There is reflexology that can put people to sleep; but I don’t find that relaxing, doing it to myself. I do calm myself via the wrists though. Most often I’ll just take a hot shower, and put on music that I’ve conditioned myself to be sleep music.
Your poetry is good Matt. Don’t listen to Chris. Keep on writing though… not at the expense of a sleepless night. I hope that improves for you.
@Chatamanda - oh gosh… you better stay away from soothing music during the day … or when you drive.
@secade - I hope we all get back to a regular sleep cycle soon.
@yang1815 - what was keeping you up?
@arenadi - I’ll have to find out what that wrist thing you’re talking about. It sounds interesting.
@ZSA_MD - oh, you’re so kind. That was just something I threw together – it sort of rhymes but it’s not really poetry. hee hee…
@ElusiveWords - I was being OCD haha. Wanted to finish something and didn’t want to give up until I did.
@yorutenshi - I hope so. I did manage to sleep ok last night so that was a relief.
@ElusiveWords - Oh I can listen to it during the day OK – just as long as I don’t lay down or get too comfy ! Lol Incidently it’s almost 3.0 AM here, I’ve slept for about 3 hrs and now I’m wide awake ! A regular occurrence for me.
Andy’s right though, after sex I drift into sleep easily.
Sorry to hear. Thankfully I sleep like a log.
